Anadûnê x Frostgard - Echoes from the Thousand Caves (split 2022) is a powerful collaboration between two of the coolest representatives of #Tolkien_Synth. The split narrates the fall of the elven kingdom of Doriath, which occurred in the First Age of Arda. The music is within the framework of the canonical #Old_School_Dungeon_Synth, where the first half leans towards epic tones, then transitions to the second, more melancholic and thoughtful half. This is top-notch Tolkien-inspired music that is worth listening to.
